Want to be a volunteer?
Approximately 50 volunteers with assistance from the vet Drs. H. van der Horst and the management run the parrot park. These volunteers do all building work, from wintersheltering to aviaries. As well as the upkeep of all the natural growth, the store, the canteen, office, feeding the animals and cleaning their habitats.
These volunteers are a close-knit team even though their ages differ from 10 to 70 years old. It does not matter how long the want to work, it's the fact they are willing to contribute. Many hands make light work.
Everybody can volunteer, we can always need caretakers, builders, carpenters, gardeners, cagebuilders, administrative persons, parrot lovers etc.
