The Animal Meadows
The NOP’s Parrot Park offers several outdoor meadows to its animals. Some of these are tucked away out of view, to protect animals confiscated by various government services and placed (temporarily) in our care.
Other animal meadows are located directly along our public hiking paths. There’s our Children’s Farm, where the kids can enjoy our goats and tame rabbits. And you can view a deer meadow, as well as a meadow for exotic birds – including flamingos, emus, greater Rheas and casuaris.
If you keep your eyes open during your walk, you’ll continuously spot new species along the way.
