Hornbills and Toucans

An enormous collection of very special animals: The Hornbills and the Toucans. Most of them can be admired in the TropiJoy where they live in large aviaries.

Hornbills are very rare birds that need a lot of space. In our TropiJoy a lot of these very special birds have found their home. Even on the gallery on top or in the middle of the TropiJoy you’ll find a wonderful collection of Hornbills. This collection is probably the biggest population of Hornbills in the world.

Since June 2005 we build 2 extra large birdcages in the TropiJoy especially for the Hornbills. These are big, beautiful aviaries where the birds feel very comfortable.

The Toucan aviaries

Just as beautiful as the Hornbills aviaries are the Toucan Aviaries.
