The Birds of Prey Aviary
In 2003, we opened our special facilities for birds of prey. These hunting birds are housed in huge aviaries, large enough for them to spread their wings and fly unhindered.
Our collection of owls includes:
- Eurasian Eagle Owl (Bubo bubo)
- Snowy Owl (Nyctea scandiaca)
- Collared Scops-Owl (Otis bakkamoena)
- Great Gray Owl (Strix nebulosa lapponica)
Our collection of eagles includes:
- Tawny Eagle (Aquila rapax)
- American Bald Eagle (Haliaeëtus leucocephalus)
